Our story

The power in collaboration

Our  belief is that the strength of any project lies not in individual brilliance but in the power of collaboration.

At Techolony, we have built a company on the principle that no one person is more important than the team. With over 20 years of experience leading a diverse portfolio of projects, I have built processes that are aligned to the principle that successful delivery depends on seamless communication, shared responsibility, and strong governance.

Techolony is more than a digital transformation company—we are your partners in change where we share in your risk as well as your success. Our Performance+ service model ensures that every member of our team, every process we implement, and every decision we make is guided by a commitment to collective excellence. We ensure that every voice is heard, every perspective considered, and every project delivered with the highest standard of quality.

Our mission is simple: to foster collaboration with clients, suppliers and our teams to drive results.

Together, we achieve more.

INFRASTRUCTURE  PROJECTS

April 2013

Formation Day

Originally set up as a project management organisation called P4 Management Services. Our company was bootstrapped by the profits from project contracts in the financial services sector.

June 2015

Stepping Stones

The company made two significant steps during this year. The first was winning a white-label contract with a large ICT workforce supplier that doubled our annual revenue for the next 3 years.

The second was the formation of our Associate model to enable us to scale our delivery teams to our clients.

Feb 2018

New name, increased focus

Our company name changes to Techolony to reflect our combined focus on delivering technology and engineering solutions with our growing colony of partners, consultants and delivery professionals that work with us to execute those solutions.

2018-2019

International Delivery

Our next key milestone was the award of a white label contract to deliver a critical application project into the New Zealand government.

Providing remote project management and PMO governance from the UK we successfully rolled out a solution that was on time, under budget and set our client up for a long-term relationship with NZ.gov

2019-2021

Information Security

This was a pivotal year where our InfoSec team developed an offering tailored to mid-sized companies looking to enhance their internal security and governance. From process and educational solutions to protect the biggest information security risk - staff, to helping organisations with their ISO accreditations, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.

2021-2023

Entertainment and iGaming

The covid years brought new challenges to businesses across the UK and Techolony's model of shared responsibility in the delivery of projects resounding well in the industry. 2021-2022 saw us take on new global clients that drove an 80% increase in revenue.

2024 -

Transparent Pricing and Nearshore services

In partnership with ITJobsWatch, our People division began offering online access to instant quotes for our Contractor and Contractor+ services.

In support, we built out our nearshore offerings covering where our clients can benefit from cost savings via nearshore skills in application development and Salesforce, supported by UK based project management and consulting.

Committed to

Mother Nature.

We believe in the power of technology to create a better future and we recognise our responsibilities in playing our own active role in environmental responsibility.

As such we have implemented 3 key initiatives.

Offices : In 2022 saw us right-size our offices from Manchester to smaller, more sustainably focused offices in Chester and Cambridge.

Transportation and Commuting : In 2024, we moved to a fully electric company car scheme implemented supported by ‘cycle to work’ and remote working incentives.

Energy Capture : By the end of 2024, Techolony aim to be able to fully account for all its carbon outputs with the help of our partner Greenly.
